Yu Liu Westside High School Yu Liu is a special young man who learned early on what it means to be a leader. For the last three years he has led the Westside High School Robotics Team without a school sponsor overseeing the team. Their robotics squad, which is trained by CSTEM, recently made a strong showing at the FIRST Lone Star Robotics Regional Championships. "Being the leader is hard. You have to make sure everything gets done. You have to make sure you have team; take care of new members, order parts, find money and make T-Shirts," said Liu. This summer he plans to do an internship at an engineering company. Upon graduation from high school he desires to attend MIT, which has been his goal since the 6th grade.
