Our mission is to close achievement gaps in areas of CSTEM in grades P-16. C-STEM accomplishes its mission by developing, implementing, facilitating and/or sustaining hands-on, project-based learning experiences that further develop student’s interest and ability to perform and compete at the highest levels. The vision is to eliminate barriers schools face with STEM teaching and learning, such as development of project-based learning curriculum, training, exposure to STEM opportunities, and building community partnerships that work. Since the inception of C-STEM in 2002, we have been addressing math and science performance areas in many ways. C-STEM’s greatest achievement is our proven track record with engaging minority, socio-economically disadvantaged, at-risk, and/or gifted and talented students in handson, project-based learning experiences. |

CSTEM
We are an educational organization for students
Seeking to expand their horizons and minds,
Through Communication, Science, and Technology
Where Engineering and Mathematics are just fine.
Our integrated learning programs
Challenge their minds and imaginations
To create, formulate, and innovate
Through teamwork and cooperation.
Communication is the skill to exchange ideas
Science is our quest to explore,
Technology and Engineering build a better tomorrow
Mathematics always opens another door.
We inspire our students to be leaders
Encourage them to learn all they can,
Show them a whole new world
And proudly hear them say,
"I Can!" © William D. McElrath
