2008 The Report on STEM Education
The audience was composed of educators from throughout the Houston metro area, including superintendents, curriculum managers, and teachers from Houston, Fort Bend, and Alief ISDs, as well as a number of charter campuses. Administrators from Shell, Exxon-Mobil, Schlumberger, the Greater Houston Partnership, Rice University, the Texas Regional Collaborative for Excellence in Science Teaching, and other Houston area businesses were also present. CSTEM is ramping up for the 2009 Sea Turtle Challenge and the funding received from Shell Oil Company ($100,000.00) and Schlumberger ($100,000.00) willl assist us reaching our fundraising goal.
