Echoes & Reverberations: “Everyone is an Artist and an Engineer”

Aug 08, 2026 (8:00 AM) - Sep 11, 2026 (5:00 PM)

Exhibition Dates: August 8–September 11, 2026
Location: Project Row Houses Community Gallery, Houston, Texas

C-STEM invites you to experience another viewing of Echoes & Reverberations, a multidisciplinary exhibition exploring how art, culture, mathematics, science, and ancestral knowledge connect across generations.

Presented in partnership with Southern Polymath Creative Consulting, the exhibition highlights the ways patterns, geometry, memory, and cultural traditions continue to shape how communities create, communicate, and understand the world around them.

Through visual art, educational materials, and interactive experiences, Echoes & Reverberations celebrates the relationship between creativity and innovation while honoring the knowledge systems rooted within Black communities and the African diaspora.

About the Exhibition

The exhibition brings together artwork and community-centered learning experiences inspired by:

  • Sacred geometry and mathematical patterns
  • African and African diasporic design traditions
  • Quilting, repetition, rhythm, and visual storytelling
  • Sustainability, reuse, and collective making
  • The connection between STEM education and creative expression

Visitors are encouraged to explore the exhibition at their own pace, reflect on the stories represented, and consider how knowledge and creativity continue to reverberate through families, classrooms, and communities.
